Social Sport Padel Comes to Fairmont Grand Del Mar

Get ready the Fairmont Grand Del Mar located in the coastal canyons of Rancho Peñasquitos Preserve, is bringing padel, one of the fastest-growing social sports to the property.

Padel adds to the many outdoor activities and amenities currently available at the resort, including pickleball and tennis. To support and manage the growing number of outdoor sport experiences available to guests and locals, Fairmont Grand Del Mar has partnered with Taktika Padel.

Taktika Padel will manage all racquet programming at the resort and provide a variety of events for members, guests and the local community. The Fairmont Grand Del Mar Racquet Sport Center features two dedicated pickleball courts, one padel court, and two shared pickleball courts on the tennis court.

Taktika’s coaching staff will provide private lessons, group clinics, leagues, tournaments and events. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase select merchandise on-site and receive training from certified Paquito Navarro Academy padel coaches, as well as certified tennis and pickleball coaches.

Additionally, other experiences featuring world champion players and coaches will be announced in the fall.

Taktika combines state-of-the-art technology with skilled workmanship to produce high-performance rackets for all that play. By providing access to premium equipment and customized padel programs, the collaboration with Taktika will improve the visitor experience while staying at the property.
