ST. LOUIS - If you're Black Friday shopping, you may want to bundle up. It'll be a cold, but sunny day on Friday with highs only in the 30s. St. Louis can even expect snow come Saturday morning.

Breezy northwesterly winds will keep wind chills in the 20s and low 30s for much of the afternoon on Friday.

Clouds increase tonight and lows drop into the mid to upper 20s. We are still expecting mainly light snow beginning about mid-morning on Saturday. Amounts will vary up to about an inch.

There will still possibly be a narrow band (potentially only 15-25 miles wide) of moderate snow set up where amounts could be in the 1-2" range with some spots closer to 3".

There is still some uncertainty on where these higher amounts may occur, but along or north of the I-70 corridor seems the most likely location.

Impacts on roads are expected to be minor. Where the heavier snow occurs, some secondary roads, bridges, and overpasses could become slick.

Snow wraps up through the afternoon and early evening hours. Temperatures will remain cold with an arctic airmass in place through the weekend and into next week. Highs each day will be in the lower half of the 30s and lows in the teens and low 20s.

Temperatures do get better by mid-week, with highs approaching about 50 degrees.
