Six San Diego County restaurants make OpenTable's 'Top 100' list
A handful of restaurants in San Diego County have been named in a recent ranking of the top 100 in the country by the popular online reservation service OpenTable.
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A handful of restaurants in San Diego County have been named in a recent ranking of the top 100 in the country by the popular online reservation service OpenTable.
OpenTable's Top 100 Restaurants in America for 2024 was compiled using more than 14 million verified reviews from diners, ratings, the percentage of five-star reviews, the number of alerts set, the percentage of reservations made in advance, the percentage of capacity and direct searches. Metrics were weighted to come up with an overall score to rank the list, according to the company.
Locally, five establishments in San Diego and one in Carlsbad were ranked as six of the 100 best restaurants in the country. Those restaurants are below:
- Addison (5200 Grand Del Mar Wy., San Diego)
- Cesarina (4161 Voltaire St., San Diego)
- Cowboy Star (640 Tenth Ave., San Diego)
- insideOUT (1642 University Ave. #100, San Diego)
- Jeune et Jolie (2659 State St., Suite 102, Carlsbad)
- Youngblood (777 G St., San Diego)
Three of the restaurants were also named on the prestigious Michelin Guide. Addison earned three stars, Jeune et Jolie received one and Cesarina was awarded a Bib Gourmand distinction.
