Single-vehicle rollover crash in Aurora leaves driver with serious injuries

DENVER (KDVR) — Aurora police responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash Friday evening near Interstate 225 and Parker Road.
An Aurora Police Department public information officer told FOX31 that the driver was the only person in the car and had serious injuries from the crash.
The officer said that currently, the agency is not sure of any contributing factors leading up to the crash.
According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, I-225 southbound was closed for over an hour while crews cleared the crash. Police closed lanes between Iliff Avenue and Parker Road while clearing the scene.
As of 9:20 p.m., the road was clear.
