Attorneys Lynn Schenk, former CaseyGerry partner Frederick Schenk and Benjamin Schenk have launched the Schenk Law Firm.

The family firm will specialize in personal injury, civil rights, business, environmental and mass tort law.

Siblings Lynn and Frederick Schenk have long been forces in San Diego County and beyond – Frederick is in his second term as president of the 22nd District Agricultural Association’s board, which manages the Del Mar Fairgrounds and San Diego County Fair, and Lynn served one term in Congress, then as chief of staff to former California Gov. Gray Davis.

Frederick Schenk, the firm’s founding managing partner, said that the time was right to team up with his sister and son in establishing a new option for those seeking legal guidance in San Diego.

“We are thrilled to combine our extensive experience, complementary strengths and considerable resources and leverage our skills as consumer advocates to protect our clients’ rights and provide legal services to those who have been physically injured or financially damaged,” he said.

The Schenk siblings each have nearly five decades of experience practicing law. They, along with Benjamin, are all alums of the University of San Diego School of Law.

In addition to her public service, Lynn Schenk founded the Lawyers Club of San Diego. In her role at the new firm, she will offer guidance on government and public policy as well as community engagement.

Frederick Schenk concentrates on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death litigation, including harm from asbestos, automobile and bike accidents, construction negligence, traumatic brain injury and social media addiction.

Benjamin Schenk was a trial attorney with Fell Law and remains of counsel with the firm. He also founded the Civic Group LLC, a commercial real estate investment and asset management firm.

The Schenk Law Firm is based in downtown San Diego at 600 W. Broadway, Suite 700 , with additional offices in Palm Desert.
