Semi-truck crashes into pond in Brighton, no injuries reported
Fuel appeared to have leaked into a pond in Brighton on Wednesday after a semi-truck crashed in the water.
DENVER (KDVR) -- Fuel appeared to have leaked into a pond in Brighton on Wednesday after a semi-truck crashed in the water.
A spokesperson for the Colorado State Patrol told FOX31 that a caller reported the semi in the pond at 10:34 a.m.
The semi-truck crashed into a pond off 104th Avenue just west of Brighton Road.
When troopers arrived on the scene, they found one occupant who was outside of the vehicle and uninjured.
FOX31 was on the scene and observed what appeared to be an oily film on the water.
CSP said troopers were still on the scene as of 12:30 p.m. investigating what caused the crash and working to recover the vehicle.
