SDPD Asking Public for Help Identifying Suspect in String of Tierrasanta Burglaries
Round Table Pizza and Tutuli Mexican Eatery were robbed on Nov. 19 and Tierrasanta Mexican Food on Nov. 4, also in the early morning hours.
The San Diego Police Department is asking the public to help identify a person who was involved in a series of restaurant burglaries in Tierrasanta.
On November 25, 2024, two businesses in Tierrasanta — Sangucheria Peruvian Street Food and Dairy Queen, both located at 5950 Santo Rd. — were burglarized.
The subject used a sledgehammer in the process of committing the crime. The loss is a couple hundred dollars from each business and one small safe.
Law enforcement believes that the same person or people also burglarized at least three other Tierrasanta businesses earlier this month. Round Table Pizza and Tutuli Mexican Eatery were robbed on Nov. 19 and Tierrasanta Mexican Food on Nov. 4, also in the early morning hours.
The subject is believed to be a man of unknown ethnicity between 20 and 35 years old. He is described as wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.
