Schenectady police investigate Sunday night crash
A pedestrian was struck and remains in critical condition following a crash on Sunday night, police said. The serious crash remains under investigation by Schenectady police.
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A pedestrian was struck and remains in critical condition following a crash on Sunday night, police said. The serious crash remains under investigation by Schenectady police.
Around 8:05 p.m., Schenectady police officers responded to a car and pedestrian crash near Eastern and Plymouth Avenues. The pedestrian was treated at the scene and was taken to an area hospital where she remains in critical condition.
Members of the department's traffic division, crime scene unit and Schenectady County Crash Reconstruction team responded to the scene, police said. Schenectady Fire Department paramedics were also on the scene and treated the victim.
