Schenectady PD investigating after woman allegedly approached at bus stop
The Schenectady Police Department is investigating a report of a woman who was allegedly approached by a man in a truck at a bus stop. Police said the incident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Friday at the bus stop on Second Avenue and Bluff Avenue.
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Schenectady Police Department is investigating a report of a woman who was allegedly approached by a man in a pickup truck at a bus stop. Police said the incident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Friday at the bus stop on Second Avenue and Bluff Avenue.
Witnesses said a man in a gray pickup truck drove up to the 19-year-old woman and told her to get in his truck. When she refused, police said the man drove away.
Police said the woman is not a student at Schenectady schools, but they have been in contact with the district. The district said there have been no other reports of suspicious activity.
