SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two employees for the city of Saratoga Springs are facing an official misconduct charge.
Saratoga Springs police said former public works commissioner Jason Golub and Deputy Public Works Commissioner Joseph O'Neill were issued appearance tickets last week. They are due in court on Nov. 21. Golub resigned in August.
Saratoga Springs Police Lieutenant Paul Veitch said the complaint was referred to SSPD from an outside law enforcement agency.
“We are investigating that complaint," he said. "It does involve employees doing work outside of their normal duties for the city while on city time.”
Police are still investigating.
