SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Saratoga man was sentenced Wednesday to prison after pleading guilty to charges related to a child sex abuse image investigation from 2023. Luke Fletcher, 42, was sentenced to serve two to six years in prison.
In August of 2023, New York State Police arrested Fletcher in his home. At that time, police said Fletcher had allegedly possessed images consistent with child sexual exploitation.
An investigation began after police received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. At the time of his arrest, he was issued an appearance ticket to return to the Saratoga Springs City Court.
On July 29, Fletcher pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony and was set to be scheduled on Oct. 1. Almost a month later, he was sentenced to serve one to three years for each count, to be served consecutively.
