San Diego Wave FC unveils 2025 regular season schedule
San Diego Wave FC is set to kick off its fourth season in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) with an exciting 26-game schedule, the team announced Wednesday.
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- San Diego Wave FC is set to kick off its fourth season in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) with an exciting 26-game schedule, the team announced Wednesday.
The 2025 season will begin on the road for the Wave, as they take on in-state rivals Angel City FC on Sunday, March 16 at 3:50 p.m. at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. San Diego will then return home for their earliest home opener in club history, hosting Utah Royals at Snapdragon Stadium on Saturday, March 22 at 7 p.m.
With 13 home matches scheduled throughout the regular season, Wave fans will have plenty of opportunities to catch the action at Snapdragon Stadium. The team’s home schedule will feature a variety of matchdays, including three on Friday, five on Saturday and five on Sunday.
San Diego’s busiest months at home will be May and September, with each month hosting three local matches. The Wave will face Bay FC (May 4), Portland Thorns (May 10) and North Carolina Courage (May 25) during a home stretch in May, followed by matchups against Houston Dash (Sept. 7), NY/NJ Gotham FC (Sept. 12) and reigning NWSL Champions Orlando Pride (Sept. 26) in September.
The team’s schedule also includes two road stretches, with away games in April against Racing Louisville (April 19) and Chicago Stars (April 26), as well as a second road trip in October to face Washington Spirit (Oct. 5) and Utah Royals (Oct. 11).
Fans eager to secure their seats for the 2025 season can take advantage of season ticket memberships, which offer up to 25% off single-match pricing and exclusive benefits. Season memberships start at $215 and are now available for purchase. Additionally, half memberships, mini plans and single-game tickets will be available soon, the team announced.
