Today, Friday, Carolina Durante released her new album, Choose your own adventure, the third of the young Madrid band’s career. The surprise comes in song two, Normal, since in the final section of the song Rosalía’s characteristic voice emerges.
Rosalía and Carolina Durante’s relationship began when the Catalan singer recommended the group’s concert at the WiZink in Madrid in January 2023. “This Friday there is a plan @carolinadurante,” in reference to the band’s concert, and posted a photo of the venue on Google Maps. The group then responded: “We confirm that there is a plan.” Around that time a friendship began to be forged that has triggered this Normal, a guitar-driven pop song that falls outside the range of Rosalía, who is more accustomed to flamenco and urban music.
