Rensselaer mourns sudden loss of Physical Education teacher
He passed away at his home on Monday.
RENSSELAER, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Rensselaer City School District announced the sudden passing of Physical Education teacher Dave Trahan. He passed away at his home on Monday.
Dave was a Troy native who taught at multiple schools before ending up at Rensselaer City School District. He is survived by his mother, children, ex-wife, significant other, niece, nephew, and sister.
Calling hours are at the Gleason Funeral Home in Schenectady on December 29. They will run from 1 to 5 p.m.
The school district said that anyone who needs support can get it through the Pupil Personnel Services.
