Red Cross hosting blood donation events to celebrate Friends anniversary

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The American Red Cross is holding donation events from now until December 17 where if you donate you get a $10 e-gift card to a merchant of choice and are automatically entered for a chance to win a $7,000 gift card. It is also hosting a socks for donors event throughout the Capital Region starting November 18.

To celebrate 30 years of the show Friends, all donors who give blood will receive two pairs of custom Friends and Red Cross socks starting Monday. The socks for donors event runs until December 8, or while supplies last.
