RED HOOK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Poughkeepsie man has been arraigned in the death of 25-year-old Bard College graduate student Linh Hong Nguyen. The Dutchess County District Attorney's Office said Rohan Patrick, 40, has been charged with criminally negligent homicide in her death.
Around 10:30 p.m. on May 25, the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash along Route 9 in Red Hook. Patrick allegedly drove onto the sidewalk, hitting Nguyen. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
"This tragic accident has resulted in the loss of a life, and no words can fully express the sorrow felt by the family and the community," said Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi.
