Police looking for motorcyclist who struck dog
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating a hit-and-run in the town of Amsterdam.
AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating a hit-and-run in the town of Amsterdam. Around 5 p.m. Tuesday, police said a motorcycle hit a dog on McDonald Drive and left the scene headed toward McKay Road.
Nearby residents in the area of McDonald Drive, McKay Road, Golf Course Road, and Log City Road are asked to check their surveillance cameras for footage of a motorcycle between 4:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
Anyone with information or video footage is asked to call police at (518) 853-5500.
