SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- San Diego Police are investigating what authorities described as "a suspicious device" at Balboa Park. According to the department, a call first came in at 9:19 a.m. reporting the item.
Police have set up a parameter in the area of the Pan American Plaza and Presidents Way, which is located in the area of the House of Pacific Relations International Cottages. The Bomb/Arson Unit has also been called in to investigate.
The public has been advised to avoid the area.
No further details were immediately released. FOX 5/KUSI is working to gather more information at the scene.
