Police investigate deadly shooting near Little Italy
Two people were shot near Little Italy Wednesday morning, the San Diego Police Department confirmed.
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Two people were shot near Little Italy Wednesday morning, the San Diego Police Department confirmed.
According to authorities, a call came in around 8:22 a.m. reporting gunfire in the area of Union Street and W A Street. Police said one of the victims has died and the other has been transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No additional details were immediately released, though the department said an active homicide investigation is underway.
