Pittsfield to mark 83 years since Pearl Harbor attack
Dec. 7, 2024 marks 83 years since the attack on Pearl Harbor.
PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) -- Dec. 7, 2024 marks 83 years since the attack on Pearl Harbor. More than 2,000 American troops were killed, and it prompted the U.S. to declare war on Japan and officially enter World War II.
Pittsfield is hosting a remembrance ceremony in Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday. Members of the Berkshire Veterans Coalition will be in attendance.
There ceremony is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. It is open to the public.
