ST. LOUIS - Tens of thousands have gathered in Downtown St. Louis to celebrate the new season of St. Louis CITY SC.
St. Louis opens its third MLS season on Saturday against the Colorado Rapids. The team is looking for a bounceback this season after falling short of playoffs last year and losing several members of the inaugural team. The match will be Olaf Melllberg's coaching debut for the team.
Fans had an opportunity to celebrate with a CITY Block Party ahead of the game, which featured music, local food and beverage vendors, fan giveaways, games and many other activities.
