ST. LOUIS – Tow trucking companies have kept busy with the large amounts of snow across the area. Many say their phones have been ringing off the hook.
At family-owned A-Always Towing Company on Manchester Road, a lot of snow remains on the ground. That snow means big business as vehicles frequently become stuck on the side of the road.
“Towing is pretty busy from last night, two nights ago…calls have been ringing off the hook. I’ve been getting dispatch calls constantly,” Mike Cartagena with A-Always Towing said. “It’s pretty horrible. If you don’t know how to drive, just stay at home.”
Cartagena added that the thickness of the snow left many drivers trapped.
A-Always Towing stresses the importance of staying off the roads if possible and allowing enough room for crews to work.
