(BCN) -- A pedestrian was severely injured when struck by a vehicle Sunday afternoon, the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety said.
The collision was reported at 4:44 p.m. on Redwood Drive in the area of Rohnert Park Expressway, the department said in a statement.
Public Safety personnel provided medical care to the victim, who was transported to a hospital.
The cause of the collision is being investigated. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information is asked to contact Public Safety Officer R. Wiegman at (707) 584-2600.
