Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who killed a pedestrian in San Bernardino County.
On April 17, Rialto police responded to a crash at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Pepper Avenue in Rialto at 11 p.m.
Officers found the injured victim, identified only as a 45-year-old man, lying on the ground. Paramedics administered life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation revealed the victim was crossing Pepper Avenue in a marked crosswalk when the suspect struck the man before fleeing the scene.
No further details were released. Detectives are asking for the public’s help to provide any evidence or details on the deadly crash.
