Patriots injury report: Drake Maye limited with concussion
Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye was officially limited in practice Wednesday with a concussion.
FOXBORO — Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye was among 16 players listed on Wednesday’s injury report.
LB Christian Elliss (abdomen), T Vederian Lowe (ankle/shoulder) and DT Jaquelin Roy (neck) did not participate in Wednesday’s session.
CB Alex Austin (ankle) S Kyle Dugger (ankle), DT Daniel Ekuale (abdomen), RB Antonio Gibson (toe), CB Jonathan Jones (shoulder), G Michael Jordan (ankle), S Marte Mapu (neck), QB Drake Maye (concussion), WR Ja’Lynn Polk (concussion), G Layden Robinson (ankle), LB Sione Takitaki (knee), LB Jahlani Tavai (back) and DE Keion White (knee) were limited in practice.
If Lowe can’t play Sunday against the Titans, the Patriots would likely have to flip Demontrey Jacobs back from right tackle to left tackle, move Mike Onwenu from right guard to right tackle and start either Robinson or Sidy Sow at right guard.
Maye is in at least the third phase of the NFL’s concussion protocol. If he continues to progress, then he has a chance to play Sunday against the Titans.
