'Panda bandit' among suspects in 2 gas station burglaries

DENVER (KDVR) — The Boulder County Sheriff's Office asked for the public's help solving two smash-and-grab burglaries at a Superior gas station on Nov. 2 and later on Nov. 10.
In one of the incidents, one of the suspects was wearing a panda onesie, and the sheriff's office dubbed the suspects "panda bandits" in a release.
Both burglaries happened at the Safeway Fuel Station at 1603 Colton Road in the early hours of the morning.
involved the suspects using rocks to smash a door open to steal tobacco and vaping products, according to the sheriff's office.
There are three suspects whom the sheriff's office believes to be teenagers or young adults.
The panda costume was only worn in one of the burglaries, according to the sheriff's office.
In the second burglary, the suspects wore dark-colored pants or jeans and dark hoodies during the burglaries. Two of the three wore white sneakers.
One also carried a distinctive green backpack, while another had a black backpack.
