GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) - A holiday tradition has returned to downtown Glens Falls! For the third year, the Queensbury Hotel built a gingerbread house for the community to enjoy during the holiday season.
This year, the culinary team challenged themselves to create "Santa's Stable," featuring two reindeer. General Manager Tyler Herrick and his wife, Sarah, were behind designing the concept.
“Each year, we’ve just sort of gone bigger and better and once you do it well one year, you got to keep growing on it and people kind of come to expect it," said Stephanie Ottino. "It’s something they really look forward to at the holiday.”
The Queensbury Hotel is hosting a Holiday Open House on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m.-noon. The free community event will feature activities for the whole family, including a visit from Santa. The gingerbread house will be on display until mid-January.
NEWS10’s Cassie Hudson was there for the unveiling of their inaugural giant gingerbread house in 2022. Last year, the culinary team created a gingerbread replica of the hotel.
