Ocean State Job Lot to open in Queensbury

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Ocean State Job Lot is set to open its first Warren County location in Glen Square, 751 Upper Glen Street. The new store will replace the recently-vacate Big Lots.

The discount retail chain offers a wide selection of name brands at low prices. The store features household items, clothes, pet supplies, lawn and garden essentials, beach supplies, kitchen staples and an array of gourmet and international specialty foods.

"We are excited to open our 16th store in New York and first in Warren County," said Pat Bridgett, District Team Leader, Ocean State Job Lot. "We look forward to bringing our vibrant, exciting and value-focused shopping experience to Queensbury early next year."

The store plans to hire employees for up to 50 full, part and seasonal-time jobs. According to the business, applications for the full-time positions will be available in Mid-November and part-time positions will be available in early December.

Ocean State Job Lot is set to open in early 2025 but an exact date is not yet available. The store joins Tractor Supply Co., Aldi and Dollar Tree at the plaza.
