(KRON) -- The Oakley Police Department is searching for a missing man.
Daniel Pelletier, 33, walked away from his home on Snowy Egret Way on Tuesday and has not been seen since. He walked south on Frank Hengel Way and then west towards Picasso Drive, the City of Oakley said.
Pelletier is 5-foot-10, 160 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He is a military veteran.
He was last seen wearing a black hat, a black sweatshirt with the words "Give Me Space" and blue jeans.
Pelletier has made comments about self-harm, prompting concern about him. He does not leave the immediate area often and does not use mass transit.
Anyone who sees him is asked to call (925) 625-8060 or 911 in an emergency.
