(KRON) -- Days after the California Highway Patrol seized over a dozen vehicles allegedly involved in Bay Bridge sideshows, authorities responded to a wild sideshow in the East Bay over the weekend where several objects were set on fire, according to the Oakland Police Department.
Officers investigating several reports of illegal sideshow activity on Saturday at around 5:45 a.m. located a group of vehicles and spectators on the 9000 block of MacArthur Boulevard. Dispatchers also received reports of multiple objects that had been set on fire.
Once Oakland police arrived on scene, the vehicles and spectators began to disperse, OPD said. The Oakland Fire Department assisted in extinguishing the fires.
No arrests in connection to the illegal sideshow were announced.
