Residents of coastal North County can expect increased military aircraft noise from Camp Pendleton this week, the military base said in an advisory.
Camp Pendleton officials posted a noise advisory to their website, advising that there would be live fire artillery and mortars over the next several days.
Officials also published information to social media, saying local aviation units will make scheduled flights over the coastal parts of the county in the area of the base as part of standard operations.
