Morning sprinkles Friday give way to sunny skies

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The Bay Area waves goodbye to showers for a few days, offering a sunny and crisp break before a return to a rain pattern Wednesday of next week. 

A brief mid-morning sprinkle will give way to increasingly sunny skies with much calmer winds. Highs will only reach the 50s.

Overnight, freeze warnings and frost advisories go into effect Bay Area-wide as evening lows fall dramatically colder. The advisories are in effect from 1 a.m. through 9 a.m. Saturday. Temperatures in the impacted areas will be between 33 and 36 degrees, according to the National Weather Service

Sunrise in San Francisco is at 7:08 a.m. Sunset is at 5:41 p.m.
