(BCN) -- A 19-year-old man is accused of child sexual assault and possession of child pornography after police in Morgan Hill acted on a tip last week.
Officers arrested Ashton Correa on Dec. 30 after getting information about his alleged possession of child pornography and after an investigation they allegedly uncovered hundreds of images and videos of child sexual abuse, according to police.
Detectives also found evidence that Correa allegedly sexually assaulted a child in his care, police said in a news release Thursday.
He is being held without bail at Santa Clara County jail and his next court date was scheduled for Friday morning.
