KARE reports there were over 100 crashes across Minnesota Wednesday due to snowfall. There was one fatality with more than a dozen injuries reported across the state.
Star Tribune reports Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakota are calling on the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers to cancel an event featuring Herzallah. “Herzallah is the director of outreach and grassroots organizing for American Muslims for Palestine, which the Anti-Defamation League has called one of the most influential, active anti-Israel groups.”

Southwest Voices reports Minnesota Senator Omar Fateh has joined the Minneapolis mayoral race. Fateh joins incumbent Jaco Frey and Rev. DeWayne Davis. Minneapolis City Council Member Emily Koski said she’s strongly considering a run, per Star Tribune.
