COLUMBIA, Mo. - A 19-year-old student at the University of Missouri-Columbia was arrested last week after he stalked a student in a residential hall bathroom and exposed himself.
According to campus police, the incident happened last Friday around 9:30 p.m.
Campus police said the victim was showering in a private stall with the door closed when Reid Cisel, 19, allegedly peeked his head over the top of the shower door.
As the victim got out of the shower and went into the hallway, Cisel pulled out his genitals in front of the victim and another student. The victims told Cisel to pull up his pants, but he continued to expose himself.
The victims contacted police, and they attempted to speak with Cisel around 11:30 p.m. that night but were unable to make contact with him.
According to police, around midnight, Cisel went to the victim's dorm room and pounded on their door in an attempt to enter. The victims captured video on their phones of Cisel and another unidentified suspect yelling, "I am going to [expletive] kill you" and "you called the police you [expletive]."
The victims again called police after the confrontation. Police arrived five minutes later, but Cisel and the unidentified suspect were gone.
Victims told police this was not the first time Cisel and the unidentified suspect had harassed them. Back in August, they said the two suspects had banged on their door excessively every night for three weeks, and they reported the issue to residential life.
Police said the victims were temporarily moved to another dorm room for their safety and Cisel was later arrested.
The Boone County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Cisel with first-degree sexual misconduct and two counts of tampering or attempt to tamper with a victim.
Cisel made his initial court appearance on Tuesday. A bond hearing is scheduled for Nov. 20 and a misdemeanor review on Nov. 27.
