Missouri inmate serving life sentences dies on Christmas Eve

TEXAS COUNTY, Mo. - A 34-year-old inmate at South Central Correctional Center in Licking, Missouri, died on Christmas Eve while serving multiple life sentences.
According to the Missouri Department of Corrections, Byron Pollard was pronounced dead a little before noon on Tuesday. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of his death.
Pollard is serving life sentences for second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and two counts of armed criminal action in St. Louis. He was incarcerated on March 24, 2014.
