Micropolitan Matchmakers host "singles week" events

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Micropolitan Matchmakers announced the schedule for the fourth annual singles week. These events are designed for singles around the Capital Region to meet new people, try new things and potentially meet their match.

"We are so thrilled to continue to partner with organizations throughout the Capital Region to
offer new and exciting events with the goal of helping people find love," said Becky Daniels,
CEO of Micropolitan Matchmakers. "With reminders of love everywhere, Valentine’s Day can be a difficult time for some people who are looking for love, but we believe that it’s one of the best times to take a chance and put yourself out there by trying something new!"

Singles Week Schedule:

• Thursday, February 6 at 6 p.m.: Beginner Bachata Class
• Saturday, February 8 at 10 a.m.: Monthly Single's Coffee Meetup
• Monday, February 10 at 6 p.m.: A virtual Meet the Matchmaker Mix and Mingle
• Wednesday, February 12 at 5 p.m.: Swipe Right Refresh- a Dating Profile Photo Shoot and Mixer
• Thursday, February 13 at 6 p.m.: 55+ Happy Hour
• Friday, February 14 at 6 p.m.: Take a Shot at Love with the Siena Saints Men's Basketball
• Saturday, February 15 at 10 a.m.: Restorative Yoga Flow for Singles
• Sunday, February 16 at 1 p.m.: A Symphony of Singles Mixer and Concert

"Singles events are a core part of our business and we’re excited that we’ve been able to truly
grow and expand our numerous community partnerships. Events allow us to not only help more
people potentially find love, but they also allow us to positively impact the businesses and
organizations we work with by bringing new people to enjoy what they have to offer," Daniels
said. "We had over 1,000 individuals attend singles events in 2024 and we’re already on track to
double that this year."
