The exact amount of funding remains undisclosed, but this partnership represents a significant step forward for Mentessa in its mission to shape the future of work.
Mentessa: Revolutionizing skill-based organizations
Mentessa, established in 2019 by tech entrepreneurs Andrey Andreev and Tina Ruseva, operates as a skills discovery platform facilitating knowledge sharing, learning, and collaboration within hybrid organizations.
With over 5,000 users across various organizations, Mentessa has quickly gained traction, providing a platform for individuals to connect with mentors, advance their careers, and share their experiences.
Previously backed by the Bulgarian VC fund Eleven Ventures, Mentessa is poised for further growth and innovation with its latest partnership.
The collaboration between Mentessa and EIT Digital represents a strategic move aimed at driving innovation in the future of work. EIT Digital, a grant co-funded by the European Union, is known for its support of innovative projects that have the potential to make a lasting impact.
By partnering with EIT Digital, Mentessa gains access to valuable financial support and resources to expedite its technology development.
The core focus of this collaboration will be using artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance skills and provide workforce upskilling solutions across Europe.
This aligns with the evolving demands of the modern workforce, where continuous learning and skill development are essential for staying competitive in an ever-changing job market.
A vision for a more inclusive workplace
Tina Ruseva, co-founder and CEO of Mentessa, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work closely with Raiffeisen-Landesbank Steiermark and the EIT Digital ecosystem. She emphasized that the project’s goals extend beyond technological innovation; they also seek to contribute to creating a more inclusive workplace.
Ruseva stated, “We are thrilled to make a lasting impact on how we work together,” underscoring Mentessa’s commitment to driving positive change in how people collaborate and advance their careers.
