Mentessa and EIT Digital Join Forces to Drive Workforce Upskilling with AI Technology

Mentessa, a startup founded in Bulgaria and based in Munich, has announced that it has secured funding and support from EIT Digital, a grant co-funded by the European Union, for an innovative project in collaboration with Raiffeisen-Landesbank Steiermark. 

The exact amount of funding remains undisclosed, but this partnership represents a significant step forward for Mentessa in its mission to shape the future of work.

Mentessa: Revolutionizing skill-based organizations

Mentessa, established in 2019 by tech entrepreneurs Andrey Andreev and Tina Ruseva, operates as a skills discovery platform facilitating knowledge sharing, learning, and collaboration within hybrid organizations. 

With over 5,000 users across various organizations, Mentessa has quickly gained traction, providing a platform for individuals to connect with mentors, advance their careers, and share their experiences.

Previously backed by the Bulgarian VC fund Eleven Ventures, Mentessa is poised for further growth and innovation with its latest partnership.

The collaboration between Mentessa and EIT Digital represents a strategic move aimed at driving innovation in the future of work. EIT Digital, a grant co-funded by the European Union, is known for its support of innovative projects that have the potential to make a lasting impact.

By partnering with EIT Digital, Mentessa gains access to valuable financial support and resources to expedite its technology development.

The core focus of this collaboration will be using artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance skills and provide workforce upskilling solutions across Europe.

As Mentessa looks ahead to 2024, the company has set clear goals. These include achieving market leadership in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), expanding its team, and closing an investment round to support international expansion. 

With the backing of EIT Digital and the collaboration with Raiffeisen-Landesbank Steiermark, Mentessa is well-positioned to achieve these ambitious milestones.
