Memorable 'Fire Country' Guest Stars: From Kane Brown to Jared Padalecki

CBS’ Fire Country isn’t just a show about inmates fighting fires — there’s an impressive guest star list as well.

The show, which premiered in 2022, follows Bode (Max Thieriot) as he gets a chance to shorten his prison sentence by volunteering for the California Conservation Camp Program. Bode gets assigned to his hometown where he reconnects with his family and former friends as he continues to make attempts to redeem himself.

Season 2 threw viewers for a loop when Bode got an early release from prison and is now a free man. The narrative shakeup was a change of pace for Bode, which Thieriot exclusively told Us Weekly allowed him to film scenes with more people and in more locations during season 3.

“In a lot of ways, season 3 is so new for me because I’ve been able to act in all these spaces and interact with so many different characters on the show. It was fairly limited before [because of Bode’s incarceration],” Thieriot told Us in October 2024. “This season is really about Bode trying to accomplish [his legacy as a firefighter] and what the hurdles are that are in his way and what obstacles he might face along the way. There’s also just the dynamics of a lot of different relationships that he’s involved with now that he is outside. There are none of the restrictions of camp or prison; it is just what happens to this guy now that he’s free.”
