Marathon Dance recipient applications to close soon
Recipient applications for the South Glens Falls High Marathon Dance will close on Sunday, Dec. 1. School officials are reminding the community to submit their applications before the selection committee chooses recipients in mid-December.
SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Recipient applications for the South Glens Falls High Marathon Dance will close on Sunday, Dec. 1. School officials are reminding the community to submit their applications before the selection committee chooses recipients in mid-December.
In 2024, the marathon dance raised $746,887.25 for 34 beneficiaries. Over the 47 years of its existence, $11.2 million has been raised for 675 recipients.
Individual and organization applications can be filled out online. Any applications submitted after the December deadline will roll over to be considered a recipient of the 2026 marathon dance.
