MANCHESTER, Mo. - Investigators with the Manchester Police Department have been credited with identifying a trio wanted for a multi-state crime spree. However, the trio is still at large.

Manchester police got involved after a woman realized her wallet had been pilfered on April 19, 2023, while she was shopping at the Manchester Costco. Her debit card was used on several unauthorized purchases at the nearby Walmart.

Store surveillance video showed three suspects. Police eventually identified two of the individuals as Reginald McNeal and Ladaisey Atwater. Following a months-long investigation, police discovered the trio was connected to similar thefts at Costco locations in multiple states.

As a result, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged McNeal, 58, and Atwater, 37, with theft and fraudulent use of a debit card. The third, unnamed suspect has not been formally charged.
