(KRON) – Authorities arrested a man with two outstanding theft warrants for stealing at a sporting goods store, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
At 1:20 p.m. on Monday, Fairfield police officers were alerted to a theft at Dicks Sporting Goods. Police informed that the suspect, later identified as 35-year-old Alexander Poplin, concealed merchandise “on his person.”
Police said the Poplin attempted to flee the store but officers were outside and apprehended him in the parking lot.
According to Fairfield PD, Poplin had two outstanding warrants for theft. He was arrested and taken to Solano County Jail.
