4S RANCH, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman inside her home in 4S Ranch was arrested Thursday, authorities said.
Tony Choi, 52, faces charges of sex assault and elder abuse, Sgt. Marcello Orsini with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said in a news release Friday. He was arrested and booked into the Vista Detention Facility.
The incident occurred Thursday around 10:45 a.m. in the 7000 block of Carmel Valley Road, according to law enforcement.
Authorities say the suspect made unsolicited contact with the woman at her home and asked the woman if her dogs needed to be washed.
"The two began talking, and the man was eventually invited into the home. After the man entered the home, he sexually assaulted the woman," Orsini said.
The suspect left the home in a car when the victim's caretaker interrupted the incident.
Later in the evening, Choi, who was driving the same car which he was reportedly driving away from the scene, was arrested at his home in the 100 block of Manzanillo Court in Solana Beach, the sheriff's department said.
