Man shot, injured in South Chicago; woman in custody
A man was injured in a shooting in South Chicago on Monday night, Chicago police said.The man was on the street in the 2500 block of East 83rd Street at 6:17 p.m. when he was shot in the head by a woman, police said. He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.The woman was arrested and a firearm was recovered at the scene, police said.
