Man fatally shot in South Chicago alley
A man was fatally shot early Wednesday at the mouth of a South Chicago alley on the South Side. Around 1:30 a.m., the man, whose age wasn’t immediately known, was found shot in the head in the 2500 block of East 80th Street, Chicago police said. The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Area 2 detectives are investigating but no one was in custody.
