ST. LOUIS - Police are searching for a killer Tuesday morning after a man was left dead following a shooting in north St. Louis City.
According to officials, officers responded to the shooting on the 60 block of Angelica Street a little after 7:30 p.m. Monday evening near the North Riverfront neighborhood of north St. Louis.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found an adult man who had been shot and later succumbed to his injuries. The street where the man was found is basically in a remote industrial area in north St. Louis City.
No name or identify has been released by police, who have only listed the victim as an adult man. There is also no information on a potential suspect in the shooting.
This recent murder brings the homicide total so far to at least 145 in St. Louis City during 2024. The total number of homicides in the city last year was 160. Back in 2022, the total number of murders was 201.
