A man was critically injured in a fight at a Gold Coast bar early Sunday morning.
CHICAGO - A man was critically injured in a fight at a Gold Coast bar early Sunday morning.
Chicago police said officers were sent to a bar in the 0-100 block of West Division Street just after midnight Sunday and found a 27-year-old man with a laceration to the neck.
The victim was taken to Northwestern Hospital and is in critical condition, according to investigators.
Police said further investigation revealed the victim had gotten into an argument with a 24-year-old man, who hit the victim with a glass cup that shattered,
The 24-year-old man was taken into custody and charges are pending.
