Male model Dynus Saxon indicted for fatal Bronx stabbing
Saxon, 20, whose name is Isaiah Bennett, was indicted on charges of murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon for the "heinous" Nov. 10 slaying of Kadeem Grant as he dozed on a couch in a small Mott Haven apartment, Clark said.
Young male model Dynus Saxon has been indicted for the caught-on-camera fatal stabbing of a 35-year-old man, Bronx DA Darcel Clark announced Wednesday.
Saxon, 20, whose name is Isaiah Bennett, was indicted on charges of murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon for the “heinous” Nov. 10 slaying of Kadeem Grant in a Mott Haven apartment, Clark said in a statement.
The victim was stabbed in the neck and chest, and was repeatedly punched, kicked and stomped in the apartment on Grand Concourse near E.144th St., the DA stated.
Cops found Grant with a knife sticking out of his chest, sources have told the Daily News. He was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital.
“This heinous, brutal attack and was caught on camera. We will seek justice for the victim,” Clark said in a statement.
Clark said Saxon and Grant did not know each other, and were both visiting the same tenant at the apartment building; Saxon was told to leave the building.
At his Tuesday arraignment, Saxon was ordered held without bail by Bronx Supreme Court Judge Brenda Rivera. He’s due back in court April 3.
Saxon, of East Harlem, has appeared in Vogue Italia, L’Officiel Baltic and ad campaigns for Levi’s. After learning of his arrest, Dot Models New York, which represented Saxon, pulled his images off the company’s website.
