It's less than a week until Election Day, and residents in and beyond Central Texas will gather to watch the early voting and day-of results trickle in at watch parties across the region.

LIST: Central Texas Election Day watch parties

AUSTIN (KXAN) — It's less than a week until Election Day, and residents in and beyond Central Texas will gather to watch the early voting and day-of results trickle in at watch parties across the region. Here's a look at some of the planned events area Republican and Democratic parties' leaders have in store.

Bastrop County

The Bastrop County Democratic Party has a watch party slated for Election Day at the Kerr Community Center, located at 1308 Walnut St. in Bastrop. The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., Chairman Dock Jackson told KXAN.

Caldwell County

The Caldwell County Democratic Party is holding a watch party at Lockhart Arts & Crafts, located at 113a North Main St. in Lockhart. The event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and will include a pot luck and drinks for purchase along with the opportunity to meet candidates, CCDP officials told KXAN.

Travis County

The Travis County Democratic Party will convene for a watch party at The Driskill on Election Day, located at 604 Brazos St. in Austin. The event is scheduled to run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., with Travis County elected officials and candidates expected to attend. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP online.

Williamson County

The Williamson County Republican Party is hosting a watch party at the Old Settlers Association of Williamson County, located at 3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd. in Round Rock. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and several candidates are expected to attend, Chairwoman Michelle Evans told KXAN.

The Williamson County Democratic Party will meet on Election Day for a watch party at Mesa Rosa Mexican Restaurant, located at 15515 Ranch Road 620 North. The event is expected to begin at 6:30 p.m. in the blue/purple rooms and on the patio, officials said on their event page. Those interested in attending can register online.

KXAN also reached out to party leadership for the Burnet County Republican and Democratic parties, the Caldwell County Republican Party, the Hays County Republican and Democratic parties and the Travis County Republican Party for details on possible Election Day watch parties.
