LANSINGBURGH, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- On Monday, the Lansingburgh Boys and Girls Club will host a drive-through pantry to provide low-income residents with healthy food. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and is supported by the Regional Food Bank and the Troy Turkey Trot.

The drive-through pantry supports 13,000 residents annually through money raised by online registrations for the Troy Turkey Trot. Of the 13,000 supported annually, 950 residents are in Rensselaer County.

The drive-through pantry offers residents a safe and convenient way to distribute food. The program serves residents in more than six counties in the Capital Region, with each distribution providing food to 200 to 300 households.
